Hahaha.....get this...

Ok, so I went to my local Sprint store here in Denton,TX and its a corporate store so they can do repairs and what not. I take in my Pixi because of the battery issue and the fact that my Pixi is swiveling more and more to the right each week...

The rep there is a REAL sport and she replaces my battery.....BUT, heres the good part, I tell her about the swiveling screen and I even show her the swiveling the phone is doing....she looks at me and says "Oh thats normal....they all do it to some degree...some more than others but it is COMPLETELY normal"

now isnt that funny....

I call Sprint customer service tell them about it, they tell me im still in my 30 day exchange period, they call her a douche, the supervisor of the 30-day exchange gets on the line and gives me a location that will swap my phone out for a new one and then she tells me:

"thank you for informing me about this locations error.... I will call that location and confront them for not helping you the way they should have"

So, now Im going to another sprint store that has confirmed they will swap my device for a brand new one............

moral of the story:
the swiveling screen is NOT normal, so dont let anybody tell you that to get away with swapping out the device

no problem....I was this close to getting pretty upset with them about telling me it was normal...im not stupid

I just naturally walked out because you have like 3 reps telling you "yea man, its normal, we cant swap it if its not broken", and then I just went straight to the source....... *2

Same thing happened to me. I took my pre back, got a new one. Took it home found out that it had oreo syndrome bad! Went back and said can I order  another one. They said no. That is normal. I said this is not normal at all. Maybe a little wiggle but not this bad. Then I demanded my first phone back that had the minor battery issue. They almost didn't give me my first phone. I said I wasn't leaving until they gave me my first Pixi.

I just went to two stores because my replacement PRE has the oreo syndrome and has a much larger space between the front and back panel than my first one.  They both told me this is normal, although my first PRE was totally fine and did not do this at all.  I called sprint and they told me I should take it back to the repair center and have them fix it or replace it, but this is the same plance that said it was normal.  Now, should my phone "really break" in some mysterious way, or should I keep demanding a new one?  I need some advice here people.

I would demand getting a new one.. seriously. I mean, if it doesn't bother you don't, but I would want a perfect phone (since you know there are more perfect Pixis out there).

How much is the screen when open suppose  to move to either the left or right? If I press on mine in either direction it wiggles a little bit.

Well that's hard to explain.. it's a moving part, so I guess "a little bit" wiggling is fine. It just shouldn't be an extreme movement.
