God I hate double posting... but here's an update! UFC 98 Main card Lightweight bout: Sean Sherk vs. Frank Edgar Edgar defeated Sherk via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27).
Middleweight bout: Dan Miller vs. Chael Sonnen Sonnen defeated Miller via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27).
Middleweight bout: Drew McFedries vs. Xavier Foupa-Pokam McFedries defeated Foupa-Pokam via TKO (strikes) at 0:37 of round 1.
Welterweight bout: Matt Hughes vs. Matt Serra Hughes defeated Serra via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28).
Light Heavyweight Championship bout: Rashad Evans vs. Lyoto Machida Machida defeated Evans via KO (punch) at 3:57 of round 2 to become the new UFC Light Heavyweight Champion. Password:53733
Machida is that dude! I love the way he fights, it's just awesome. I've seen the dude get punched in the face cleanly like 10 times in his whole career. The way he just jumps in and jumps out while taking no damage is just ridiculous. I feel he will be champ for a while. His next defense will be Rampage Jackson when he heals up from his last injury.

Sorry buddy. But he got WHOOPED!!! That flop was nice.
He's not the caliber that Machida is. All Evans did was knock out an aging Chuck Liddell.
Machida will be champ for a while. Machida will continue to whoop the "brawler" style of fighter. Rashad let his ego get to him and chased Machida, which is what Machida is best at doing when he can counter an aggressor. That's his Karate style that he's been doing since he was a little kid.

Haha. Also I dunno if you heard this stat on Machida, He is the least hit fighter in MMA history. He gets hit an average of 1 time per 2 and a half rounds.
That's just insane.
UFC 99

Yeah Herring has a unspecified illness.
He's probably still messed up from that Lesnar punch!

Yeah it's 100% better than any UFC game before it. Those games were a joke. Undisputed 2009 is VERY realistic in that you actually are more successful trying to fight like the real life counterpart than to just mash buttons.
I thought the biggest obstacle for a game like this would be clipping on the ground game but in a way that's where the game shines.
I love using Lyoto Machida because he has a good range with the stand up with the head kicks and the superman punches and he also has good ground transitions and stamina.

yeah I agree. I've only played it a few times and honestly I'm not all that interested in UFC but this game made me reconsider. But I love how smooth everything blends together.
