OK, expect more posts from me now that I'm officially registered and introduced

I work in the marketing/advertising/communications areas for work (I do a lot more but that's my main focus so to speak) and feel that my comments below are justified. Normally I wouldn't necessarily comment on something like this, but I'm a pretty dedicated customer of both Sprint AND Palm (still kicking the Treo 700 around till tomorrow heehee).
Here are my thoughts on the commercial:
Makes me want to call my mom and tell her I love her after buying some chai tea in a nice comfy coffee shop. Does NOT make me want to do endless searches for the Palm Pixi information online as I seem to have already been doing these past few weeks (more but just in case work's watching

)
Seriously though, as much as it's a pretty 'cool' commercial, it does NOT really compell me to buy a Pixi, let alone search out information on it. Granted, Apple's got a VERY good ad agency that's killing the competition with 'wow oh wow' types of commercials, from the iPhone to the Mac vs. PC, but still, on such an incredible device as the Pixi, BRAG ABOUT IT, show me what it does, make me REALLY think, 'is this better than the iphone??'. Unfortunately, they don't do it.
Now, this is also their 1st introductory commercial so I see where they're going in trying to muster up some emotion for it, but it's UNKOWN right now, muster up all of the emotion you want but make me want to like it. I'm saddened to see that those at Sprint/Palm didn't do more with this commercial, but I'm also pretty 'close' to wanting this to work and maybe I'm being too objective
