Ah ok thanks. Well yeah the Pixi offers some of it (calendar, email, keyboard, ...) plus of course the whole webOS and capacitive touchscreen, notifications...

What to do.. Grin

I honestly have to say I love the keyboard on the Pixi (I know you don't want to hear it) LOL

But I do.  I've got huge hands (I can touch the tab key with my thumb and enter key with my pinky with the same hand on a standard desktop keyboard) and I have no problems with the Pixi's keyboard.

I like the keyboard on the Pixi, i never said i didnt!.
but I love more the keyboard on the berries!  Wink

Turns out Sprint wants wifi on all future smartphones! That is fantastic news!!!

They will be re releasing the tour next year with wifi added.

Lots of people complain about Sprint, but in my experience, their coverage and download speeds are great. I never needed Wi-fi with a Sprint phone and I've lived on the West Coast, Midwest and now live in NY. The Blackberry Tour actually looks pretty cool. I was considering returning my Pixi for it since it has all the things I want that the Pixi is missing like expandable memory, video recording and streaming video. I think I'm gonna stick with the Pixi though. But all you guys complaining about no Wi-Fi on the Tour, I honestly don't think you really need it with Sprint. Maybe with Verizon.

Yup... after much thought and testing... i realized that the Pixi was not the best for me... I will definitely wait for the next Pixi caliber phone... hopefully without a slide out keyboard...

I do love the potential on webOS, so I wont take my eyes away from it...

Yeah I think with Blackberries you get excellent hardware and good software, with the Pixi you get good hardware and excellent software.

I agree, if my PRE felt as sturdy as my girfriends blackberry curve, it would be perfect.

I came from the 8830...Good phone, lacked some things but all in all a good, solid build.  I then picked up the Tour...that phone was awesome...until the track ball stopped working, went back got a replacement, then, the trackball again stopped working properly and also it sounded like I had a damn dog whistle in my ear while trying to talk on it, so...it was time to give the Pixi a shot, the only problem I had envisioned was the battery liffe...bought a car charger and WALLLAH...fixed that problem.  While comparing the Tour to the Pixi...not being a fanboy of either, the PRE completely destroys the Tour...hands down, no doubt!!!  If you say anything different you are just lying to yourself...the apps will come for the pre, and when they do its just going to get better and better!

I think that the Pixi has waaaaay more potential than the Tour... I personally think that the berry is built better, from a hardware point of view. The trackball issue the Tour has is like the Oreo that the Pixi experienced. I had to exchange my first Tour and for my second, the trackball is perfect...

The one thing that I take the Tour over the Pixi is that it is unlocked for GSM carries out of the USA, since I travel a lot to Europe, all I have to do is buy a SIM card there with some prepaid minutes and i'm set to use my phone over there (i did a simple hack that Sprints allows, and now my Tour is unlocked even with US carriers, I used a friend's ATT SIM to test it!)

I think if Palm creates a phone with the style of the Pixi and webOS develops to offer options like the ones in the BB OS, then it will be the greatest device on earth... for me, not ready to move to webOS...

By the way, did you see my Tour?
