The Tour is coming out on Verizon AND Sprint soon. What do y'all think of both of these phones???

About the Tour:
-3.2 MP camera and video recording
-qwerty keyboard, no touch screen
-access to BlackBerry specific apps (BlackBerry App World, BlackBerry messenger)
-looks very similar to the Curve 8900 (T-Mobile) and Bold (AT&T)

Weakness:
-no Wi fi

Strength:
-can go world wide

Before i considered the Pixi, I thought of a BB. I didnt get the 8830 sprint had because it lacked many features... so I chose the instinct and still ask myself why did I do that?!!!

Anyway... this is an upgrade to the 8830 world phone... it does call my attention because I travel to italy and spain quite often... The Pixi wouldnt work there...  Embarrassed

Im still getting the Pixi... I cant wait to get rid of the instinct!

The Tour is catered more towards business users from what I've read online.

Blackberrys Rock! Honestly if the Pixi weren't here I'd be getting this. The lack of wifi is pretty lame. But of oh well. If I can find a way to get hooked up with one of these phones I would def. get this to keep it as a 2nd. Pixitty nice it can go worldwide too. Nice feature. In case I ever do leave this country again.

I know that the latest OS's of blackberries CAN view HTML, therefore its safe to assume that the Tour can. Even if it can't there are MANY 3rd party apps available that allow you to read HTML emails. If email is important to you, definitely consider blackberries-that's pretty much a BIG thing that they are known for!

Are you kidding me?  You're actually comparing the Tour to the Pixi?  LOL! The Pixi SHUTS DOWN the Tour!  It blows the battery cover right off the tour.  What's next?  Chevy Cavalier vs. Mercedes AMG???  "But they both have radios and power seats!!"  laugh laugh laugh laugh laugh

You know what's sad?  It would probably be a decent phone (though still nowhere near the Pixi) if it weren't Verizon.  You KNOW those bastards are going to lock it down and limit it and overcharge for everything.  And they're going to put their ridiculous pale blue and red theme all over the place and make it look horrible.

If Bill Gates had a nickel for every time Windows crashed...  oh wait, he does.

If you have a complaint about the Pre, such as a lack of a feature or a feature that doesn't work well, complaining about it here isn't going to fix it.  Why not send your suggestion to Palm?  That's how the Pre will evolve from a great phone into an even greater phone.  Just click here.

The email feature is poor at best.  You have no control over when it checks for email, and I think it does so like every 20 minutes or so.  That's outdated information, though... they could very well have changed that.  That's why I never went for the BB.

As for HTML?  I don't know, honestly, but I think they may have a watered down version of it.
