I actually find that pretty funny, and no I've never fallen for anything like that. I even got texts claiming they were my bank.

My mom almost fell for one of the Paypal ones. Most older folks don't really think that it is anything other than legit. Especially when the 'older adult' isn't exactly internet/tech-savy....

And that's the problem.. I would never fall for it, but an older relative of mine did. Fortunately the bank replaced his loss. People easily underestimate the dangers if they are not really into internet/computers.

Speaking about it, this is from recent German TV-news. He wanted to say "phishing attack" and got it mixed up somehow Grin

I love how you can tell who the "hacker" is by the black hat he has pulled down over his eyes while he steals your bank info...  Cool
