In text, or when I email or mms a picture, the x, c and v keys just stop working. Usually closing the app and then starting over fixes it...but that can be a pain so replacing the word with one that doesn't contain those letters is my usual tact. I couldn't find this issue elsewhere...but am wondering if anyone else has experienced?

I wonder if it has anything to do with cut, copy and paste (since those are the keys not working)

Maybe you are accidentally touching the gesture area when pressing those keys? I'm sure it has something to do with copy, cut, and paste like Ryu said.

Well - I don't think I'm touching the area because I usually hold the sides of the keyboard area when it's exposed. I haven't used copy, cut or paste since I got the phone - so not understanding why it might be that - but I'll look up how to do, which should explain that comment and see if I can figure out if it is or isn't.

You can copy, cut, and paste with those keys when you're holding your finger on the gesture area. It's a shortcut, that's why I said that. Hm but if your finger is not on there, I don't know what it is. You could still try a soft-reset.. click on the link in my sig if you don't know how.
