I stored the Palm PDF manual on my Pixi, as a usb storage device..  WHen I went to access the 300 plus manual, from the PDF reader, my Pixi froze when I tried to jump from page 1 to 50.  Or 40, or anything beyond 10 pages, and the unit froze up.  So much so that I had to take the battery out to get it to restart.  Is removing the battery the only hard reset you can do?

That is actually called a 'soft reset'

And no I dont believe it the only thing you can do.

You can hold the lock/power button and toggle the ringer switch 4 times to reset.

I think the Guide is too large to store in the PRE. And you don't need to keep the whole PDF document. Just save the URL and access it when need to (a PDF reader is included. wow)

Orange + SYM + R will also soft reset, however I'm not sure if that will work if the phone is locked up.

I am new to all this stuff.  How do I save the user's manual like the person down below said as a file.  i do not have a laptop yet or a computer.  I fought technology for way too long haha
