First I will start by saying that I love this phone.  Palm has done a great job with the software and hardware of this phone.  Like many others, there are some features I would like to see added, but I am not going to kick and scream for it is in its infancy stage and I know they will come.

One issue I have seen involves my text messaging.  In the normal conversations window, it shows all the people you are in a conversation with.  However, I have 2 contacts that I know I am conversing with that do not show up in the list.  I must type in the letter of their name in that window for it to show me their conversation.  When I try to delete it, hoping it will go back to normal, it just reappears with all the previous conversation being retained.  I am not sure how to remedy this and I hope someone here as an answer.

All I have really done was a soft reset through the device info screen and cycle power to the phone.

Wow, I was looking for info on this as well.  I have one contact so far, that does not show up in the conversations list unless i type in the name.  The only way I cant delete this is if I delete each message in the conversation one by one.  I would like a solution to this as well..

Did you check the sticky?

That's the only solution I have for you.

I have the same problem. Obviously it's a issue that more and more people will see.

I got this from another forum and it worked great!

1. Go to a the particular person in "Contacts" and bring up their screen
2. Tap on their name (at the top)
3. Tap "Link more profiles..."
4. Link them to another contact (only temporary)
5. Close contact
6. Open that person's contact again
7. Tap on their name or their link...and tap "unlink"

That person and their conversation will reappear in your "Messaging"...where you can individually delete conversations one by one or the entire conversation.

Do this for each person that no long shows up in your "Messaging" area.

There are times when I need to get a text message out to a number of people at the same time.  Do I do that by the advice on linking I have already read on this post?  I just want to take the time to send a text out to each of them individually. Please advise and thank you in advance.

you can manually add one by one everyone you want when sending a single text msg. what is not available is creating a group...

i was beginning to wonder if i was the only one having this problem. like you, knowing that i am still carrying on a conversation and it's only with 2 of my contacts, i have to hit the "+" in the lower left corner as if i am going to start a new conversation, type their name in and then the entire conversation i am having appears. it only started for me in the last week or so. i have done the soft reset and nothing seems to fix the problem.

Did you try the solution given in this thread?

I know it has worked for many others here.
