I'm hoping this is being posted in the right place, if not sorry.

I'm having trouble connecting to my sprint internet. It was working when I got it, had the symbols on the top of the screen. When I connected it to a wifi connection for the first time it shut off my sprint internet somehow. I've searched all through the phone but I have not found any option to turn my internet on.

When I try to access the web I get the message "The network is currently not available. Please enable networking before using the browser."

Thanks for any help!

Welcome!

I will be moving this to the How To area.

Try to update your network settings (i think thats what they are called) go to the phone app, click in the upper left corner and there should be a settings or something similar, update your PRL while you are at it... it it doesnt work, click on the link in my signature and try again.

if it doesnt work... try calling sprint or using the online chat (i prefer the chat!)

Make sure you aren't in airplane mode as well.

I had the same problem this afternoon. I ended up powering the Pixi down and then powering it back up. After that it worked fine.  Still don't know what happened though.

Same here!

Updating network settings seems to have done the trick.  Smiley

If Bill Gates had a nickel for every time Windows crashed...  oh wait, he does.

If you have a complaint about the Pre, such as a lack of a feature or a feature that doesn't work well, complaining about it here isn't going to fix it.  Why not send your suggestion to Palm?  That's how the Pre will evolve from a great phone into an even greater phone.  Just click here.

happens to me all the time.

Depending on how patient I am at the time, I either:

A - Put it in airplane mode, then take it out. It takes a few minutes for the EVDO to work again.

B - Reset the phone. (Device info, reset options, reset phone)
