I've been reading stuff in the forum for a few days now and trying things with the pre and realized a cool sorta workaround for putting new wallpapers without connecting the pre to the computer.
While in the web browser on the phone, go to a nice wallpaper site of your choice and screen capture (orange, sym, and P...the pics show up in photos folder) the image.
Then, go to your photos folder and open up that screen capture, zoom in just a tiny bit more to knock out the arrows at the bottom and time at the top, screen capture again and voila! you have a wallpaper. Its not perfect, since you're effectively cutting out some of the picture but the tropical bit on my screen looks nice
Also, as a side note, I put the bestskinsever skin on this phone and its pretty nice. Tougher to apply than on my old motorola Q (it was flatter) but, given patience in application, turns out pretty well!
EDIT: I only say this about the skin because it turns out to be the cheapest skin I've seen while still being entirely protective and durable. It's free shipping if you purchase 3 or more
