Things to Know When Posting
CodesThere are several helpful 'codes' you can use when posting. First off is making a hyperlink into a word.
So instead of posting a link
http://www.PalmPixiForum.com/index.php. You can post it as a word,
Palm Pixi Forum.
1. Type your link or paste it onto your post. We will use the home page as our example.
http://www.PalmPixiForum.com/index.php
2. Highlight the link and press the hyperlink button shown here:

It should look like this now:
http://www.PalmPixiForum.com/index.php
3. Replace the second bracket, ], with an equal sign, =. Like so:

4. Add the bracket, ], back in right before the . It should look like this:

5. In between the brackets, looks like this ][, you add in your text. The final thing will look like this:
Palm Pixi Forum
How To Double Quote in One PostSo you are in a topic and you want to reply to two separate posts in one post. You want to quote both of those posts but are unable. Here is how you do it.
First, right click on one of the "quote" buttons. There should be an option, "Open Link in a New Tab". Select that.
You should have two tabs open now, one with a post box in it, and one with the topic. In the topic tab, left-click the "quote" button of the other post you wanted.
There still should be two tabs opened, both with post boxes showing.
Copy the quoted text from one of them and paste it to bottom of the other. You can now close the tab which you copied the text from.
In the remaining post box, there should be two separate quote boxes when you post/preview. You can type in between the quote boxes if you would like.

Chatroom
The chatroom button can be found on the toolbar. You can use these rooms to chat instead of having to post.
If you want to ask a question in the forums then you can link the chat and say which room you are in to discuss it.
You can make your own forums but I believe they will be deleted without much activity.

Contacting the Staff
If you have questions for any mod or admin, send them a p.m. and they will get back to you. Be patient, we have real lives and it may take longer than you would hope. If we haven't answered your p.m. in a few days, feel free to send it again.
Also, know that the admin "Palm Pixi" is the head honcho in the technical area of the site. Questions about adding features to the forums or other similar questions should be directed toward him. Please be especially patient as he has other forums to tend to.

The Cookie Mini-FAQ:
-Cookies are the karma system used on these forums. If you see someone do a good job and helping out the forums, click the "[Give]" button (not pictured). If you see someone not following this guide then click the "[Take]" button (not pictured).
-NOTE: You are not giving a member one of YOUR cookies. You are giving someone a cookie from the "cookie jar". Same with "taking" a cookie. If you take a cookie, it does NOT get added to your cookie count. It gets put back into the "cookie jar" or it is thrown into the trash. xD

The Censor Guide
The newly-implemented censor will eliminate offensive words.
Trying to bypass the censor will result in a one week ban as found in the rules. I don't expect this to be a problem, just keep things appropriate.
Offensive words include racial slurs, swear words (Not all) and other inappropriate words.
If you think a word should be censored, or are concerned about what words are considered inappropriate, send me a P.M. You can use the guide to figure out to do that!
