You guys are wrong. I don't have any homebrew apps. They're all from the App Catalog. So it's not a homebrew problem. My problem is that I have 2.6 GB of memory but my phone won't let me install new apps cuz I'm "out of memory".
I already said it is not a homebrew problem...
I don't think it's all due to the homebrews. I got the message when I didn't have any HB's installed. I found that moving apps off of the first launcher page works for me sometimes.
It is a bug in the system.I have like 7 gigs left and I still get it. Not sure if it got fixed in 1.2 ....I guess I'll wait and see if I get the message again.
As for only having 8 gigs. It is a disappointment. But we all knew(or should have) that that is all it was going to have. I don't have much of my music on my Pixi(I have over 300 gigs of it on my home computer) as I use Pandora if I want to listen to music. And I load videos as I need them, for trips, etc. From my Ipod experience I find that I never really watch them more than once on the device anyway. With all of this, I am not too concerned about my memory filling up too quickly.
That said, everyone is different and I totally understand the need for an all in one solution to put everything on. The next gen will undoubtedly have more memory and possibly an SD slot(wishful thinking). My only advice, for now, is to be selective as to what you put on it. That's really our only option as Pixi users
EDIT:It was not fixed in the 1.2 update.
