Hey fellow PalmPixiMadonna's:

Let's be clear, fortunes will be made by developers who can create iFart-esque apps on the Palm Pixi. Does anyone want to collaborate on some ideas? I'm in Chicago and have an offshore software development firm (check me out at www.SoftwareSweatshop.com). Do you have an idea for something you'd like to see? Maybe we can do an equity split on some projects. The key is to move fast.

What are some of the top apps you want to see on the Palm Pixi? I have a Blackberry Curve 8900 and here are my top 10 favorite apps:

1). Google: (Gmail, Mobile Search, Maps, Talk, and Calendar): Awesome
2). Remember the Milk: Integrates my PC todo list with my Blackberry (also interfaces with my Google calendar)
3). Viigo: Best RSS reader, I spend most of my time here...
4). Nimbuzz: Integrates Google Talk, Skype, ICQ, MSN Messenger, AIM, etc.
5). WSJ mobile app: Get all the latest news, it's great
6). VyMail: Sexy little visual voicemail app
7). MobiPocket: I read all my ebooks and pdfs straight from my Blackberry
Cool. 123Spoof: This crazy application lets you spoof your phone number. You can call your friends and make it look like your boss. A stalker's dream-come-true.
9). Trapster: Notifies you of speed traps and traffic cameras. After paying hundreds of dollars in tickets, this app is a life saver.
10). Vlingo: This is the best speech to text application on the market. It only works on Blackberry and iPhone right now.

What other apps should developers start making for Palm? PixiFart maybe? I'm not as cool as the guys here at PalmPixiForums.org, but check out my dorky site for new Palm Pixi reviews and news

I'm going to add shazam and the cool app I seen called have 2 pee.

It is a database of public restrooms with reviews of them! Sounds kinda funny but imagine you need to go and you don't want to take a chance and get a dirty bathroom, or you don't know where one is.

I need to have Yahoo Messenger, RSS newsreader/podcast such as Newsbreak, the best RSS out there, and an application to play radio stations that use Windows Media Player.  It would be awesome if Core Player had a version for WebOS. Also, a way to sync without having to put all your personal info on Google would be nice. The first three are a deal breaker for me if not supported.  I am not going to go to a "hip" OS just to have a limited smartphone experience.  I can do almost everything on my Windows phone.  Maybe not as slick as with WebOS, but a Windows phone can do more right now.  I have decided I am going to wait to see what is available in the Apps store before I get the Pixi or return it within 30 days to piss Palm/Sprint off if the programs I mentioned above are not available by then.

As far as other apps that would be in my top ten, How bout full program apps for Slingbox, Facebook, Myspace, Twitter, Microsoft Office Mobile, Netflix, and a good You-Yube client, not m.youtube.com that is shown in recent pictures.  I like the Touch Pro's You Tube client.

I have a feeling alot of everyday Outlook users are going to return the Pixi when they find out their stand-alone software won't sync and have to buy something to synch to Google.  If Palm ensists on going with a cloud, they should have their own cloud that you can sync your data to and keep Outlook in Outlook.  I just do not trust my stuff in Google.
