Spooooooky stuff...

I was browsing the comments on an old Pixi item at Engadget when what should I spy but one of my posts from this very forum, reproduced in its entirety, under somebody else's monicker.

Fair freaked me out. 

Not that I really give a rat's as I assume somebody from PalmPixiForum biffed it into the Engadget comments because it happened to fit the topic. I noted that there was a URL link to this forum at the bottom of the post, so I'm guessing that somebody felt that it might be sufficiently interesting to get some click through to here.

So, no worries as far as I'm concerned. It was a bit disconcerting though...

But gosh, I'm actually flattered that a long-winded diatribe from me was considered worthy enough to borrow.

The post is under the banner of "alltouchdiamondcom @ Feb 18th 2009 7:40PM", whomever that may be.    That's around 22 posts from the last one of the comments, on the last page as of right now. Of course, position might well change if the thread is still active, but it's old, so I doubt it.

Having said all that, please don't be disappointed by the content - it was a rant for this forum that just happens to have been transplanted. What took me by surprise was that it appeared in a space other than this one.

So, enjoy, but there's no guarantee that it'll cause the earth to move for you. Thanks for asking though.

And thanks also to the kind soul who granted me the additional cookie.
