Yeah same here. I just don't see how webOS would be very appealing for a desktop.

Most of the key features are great for a mobile because they are already used on a desktop...

But yeah I do hope it does well. Palm needs the money.

I might have an interest.  Could it replace a notebook and be compatible with the Pixi?  Would it have flash at release for web browsing?  How about storage for info that won't fit on your Pixi like lots of movies.  Could it sync with Pixi so you can transfer files to and from wirelessly? It could be like a a large Pixi. I could see using a mount and hooking it up to your dash in the car like they did on an episode of "Chuck"  if it is small enough. Plus it is cheaper than a notebook.

I think WebOS as a netbook OS is pushing it. They'd probably have to modify it to be more of a netbook OS than a mobile OS. And Flash at launch would be absolutely possible since Linux has plenty of Flash support. The Pixi is lacking because they need to adapt the flash binaries to a mobile platform.
