Interesting article. All of this is really ramping me up. I don't know about anyone else, but I think that Palm is going to be alright. http://www.coolest-gadgets.com/20090501/the-palm-foleo-lives/Maybe the shelving of this came just around the time the guy from Apple joined Palm? Maybe he got ahold of the product and found all the problems with it. I'll have to do some research and see if I can find a timeline.  |

I don't see why it would change anything. You'd just have a mouse/trackpad instead of using your finger. The o/s would still work the same, just a different way of interacting with it. |

I have my MacBook for that, I wouldn't need it... but stil it'd be nice, I'd like to see how webOS is doing and especially looking on such a device!

I don't really think people will buy it...
I mean webOS is great for mobile devices, I don't think the laptop will do so hot.

If Palm creates a good product, the Folio might do well. Netbooks are selling extremely well right now. Whenever I am at an electronics store, I see lots of people interested in netbooks. I would probably wait to see how webOS works on the Pixi before purchasing the Folio. Cloud computing is the next big thing. I've been looking at netbooks but might just wait for the Folio.
