New customers with a 2-year contract, $199.99. Existing customer upgrades, $299.99. Outright, $999.99. Yes, seriously.

I just am not sure about those prices....especially the $999.99. That is the price that sends my crap detector onto full alert. That is beyond the realm of any phone out there. The Pixi is good....but not $1,000 good. I can see it around $600 on the high end of an estimate.

Also, as far as the $100 difference between new and current Sprint customers...that would make this phone different than any other phone that Sprint has. The phones are usually the same price for new and current customers as long as the current customer is eligible for their 2-year upgrade and renew their contract.(premier customers are eligible after 1 year)

Maybe that 1000$ was just a place-holder price, and they picked it up and thought it was true.

It is nice to see that the BB prices were debunked. It was only a matter of time....
