I stopped by my local sprint office and they said the renewal price would be either $349.00 or $399.00 with renewal but there may be a $100.00 mail in rebate. I think thats a bit pricey if they want to compete with the I-Phone.

Yeah if that is around what the actual pricing will be that is kinda high. And I'm sure they will do a $100 mail in rebate. They do on every phone.

Yeah, too much! A 100$ rebate included would lower the price to what we expected.

I wonder how much it's gonna be in Europe..

Dayumn! There better be a MIR after that price. If not I might just hold up for an Android phone to come to Sprint.

I think Sprint should discontinue the MIR program.

I hope you mean by discontinue that they would take that price right off of the phone.

If it's $350, I hope they release it soon so the price comes down by the time my renewal comes around.

Yes, take that price right off the phone.  I don't think it will happen because Sprint is making money from it buy putting that money into a liquid account and collecting interest.

I was at bet buy today. Talked to a little cutie there and she knew phones pretty well. And I found out that best buy takes that MIR right off the price of the phone. So I think I'll probably be going there to get the pre. Don't have to pay so much up front. As far as release she was saying May but I don't believe what anyone says anymore about release dates.

I think that wasn't too bad of a guess. We should have a release date soon though. If it is announced that it will be June I'll be mad. It'd rather not know then.

Best Buy usually does an instant rebate. I guess for those who want the phone right away will take their chances with the MIR. I doubt that best buy will get the phone on the 1st day. I'm sure that sprint will offer it's customers and those who registered to be notified on sprint/palm websites 1st dibs before the general public like they did with the instinct. Besides, I think if you buy it there you end up having to pay additional fees to get it activated I thought. You order it online through sprint and you don't have to pay those fees. I'm ultra cheap and I'm also not pressed to be the 1st one to have it. So, I'll wait. Either way you get the money back. It's great when you get that check in the mail unexpectedly though. It's never a bad time to get money in the mail. It just so happens that I got mine at the same time I saw something I really wanted.
