So I've read a lot of great reviews for the Pixi, and I can't wait to try it out, but I'm not hearing very much about how email will work on the Pixi.

Basically...I use Outlook at work, and I have a lot of folders within the Inbox. Will the Pixi let me move individual emails into different folders within the Inbox, and then sync it with the server so that when I log into Outlook at my office computer, the changes are reflected on the computer?

Does anybody know?

Thanks!

I am in the same boat but all my folders are for personal use.  I really haven't even thought about this concern.  Actually this is very important for me as well.  I need folders within inbox that I can sync from Outlook folders.  Does anybody know if it can do this?

I'm guessing your company uses MS Exchange, if so it will most likely will support this, but if you're that concerned about it then maybe you should wait til after release and see if someone can field your question to your exact specifics. There's no one with a Pixi right now that can field your question without breaking the NDA.  You could always try contacting Palm directly about this. They have plenty of forms to communicate with them.

The best way to talk to Palm is to fill out the info at their website and talk to a live chat person.  I asked him all of the above questions and he said yes.  He also told me he does not know about the Pixi but the Pixi can do all those things.  This makes me think they are just telling people what they want to hear.  He told me they would not release a phone that could not fully support Outlook since all their other phone do. But then he said he didn't have any information on this subject.  I told him if it didn't do it I will return the phone and he said there will be no reason to return phone.  I am starting to lose confidence in this company.

Yeah, I've already called Palm too, and the person I spoke with said he wasn't sure since not many details about the Pixi have been released, but he thinks it should do it.

So I guess it's just one of those wait and see situations.

Thanks to everyone who responded, and if you happen to know the answer, please help us out!
