Where do I find info on how this works. I'm a fairly new member, which is why I don't have that option. I'm assuming it's linked to member status. Where do I find info on how that works? I know I've read it before, but when I search, I can't find it now. --Thanks!

Pixitty much you can give a cookie to someone who you think deserves it for delivering some good information, article, etc. You can take a cookie if you feel someone is just getting out of line about something or getting angry at other members. Not many Cookie Monsters here. Everyone that was cookie thief pretty mcuh has gone above and beyond to be a bad member and has been banned. And if you would like to see who changed your Karma you can Click on Profile>then summary in the profile info box> Then you can see who 's Karma you have changed and vice versa. Hope this helps

So if I understand you, if say I wanted to give you a cookie, that ability is in the "give/take" on you're information in your post. Somehow I thought that since I didn't see it on mine, my "newbie"status left me without cookie privileges. It's a pretty sad state to be in--no cookie privileges. I felt so discriminated against . . . .  Grin

Do you know where the info about member status is? Or how I'd search for it? When I try member status, nothing comes up. Or if I put "Pro Member" for example, it just brings up posts by "Pro Members." I know I read this stuff somewhere, but I can't find it now.

No discrimination here. Everyone can have cookies!  Grin Yep, just use the give/take option under someones name to give or I guess if they deserve it take their cookies.

you can find out by going the the Profile tab, click on Summary and somewhere there you can see who has changed your Karma...
