Hi out there!

Now that I've got a kickass phone that can even use iTunes - I need a great set of headphones that can deliver great music sound and come with a good (ie. clear sounding) mic that definitely works with the pre.

Well, what are the opinions out there??

Thanks!

I got the Motorola S9 a few years ago.  It works fine with the Pixi.  Pixiviously with the treo I was unable to use bluetooth headphones with any DRM music, but since Itunes only syncs DRM free ( won't even sync DRM fairplay2) it's not an issue.  Music and calls seem to work ok.  without an Eq the music quality is fair.

I had a pretty good set for working out. The LG HBS-200

They worked great lightweight pretty loud with OK battery life.

The skip button stopped working after a few months though and I ended up snapping the plastic piece that connected to one of the earpieces...

For the pre I got the Motorola S805...

These are much heavier and bulkier then expected which may get a little annoying while working out but they get damn loud when playing songs that are actually on the Pixi as apposed to Pandora, but I suspect this would be the case with any set of headphones...

i just got the Motorola S9-HD and they're nice and loud and you can't even feel that their on because they're so light. talk quality isn't bad at all too.

i like the bluetooth headsets that people don't wear all the time and talk to themselves like they are having an interesting conversation that everyone needs to hear.  Angry

seriously though, you get what you pay for.  make sure 1) you get something with great background noise cancellation (i.e. i can't hear my sister's background when she's driving with the window down - that's great cancellation!), and 2) buy it somewhere you can easily return it if you think it sucks and you want to spend a little more to upgrade.

I've used the Motorola S9's for the past year almost every day and these are by far the best bluetooth headsets I've ever had...Bar None!!!  Highly recommended and worth the price.
