I thought it would be nice for anyone that is using a bt headset to list the ones that work/don't work on the pre. Be aware that many have different results with the same phone and bt so buy at your own risk.

So far I have used the samsung wep200(non a2dp), which works great.
Also tried the jabra bt530(a2dp), music played well, but many callers complained of loud interference on their side so i returned it.

*TheInvsbleMan here I am editing this post to make a clear list at the top of which ones have been confirmed to work. I will also make this a sticky. I ask the OP to try to keep the list up to date but if not I will swing by every once in a while to update it. I also ask that if you do update the list keep it alphabetical. Thanks guys!*

Bluetooth Devices that work well with the Pixi

BlueAnt
Garmin Nüvi 765t
Jawbone II
Motorola BT S9 stereo headphones
Motorola H700
Motorockr s9
Plantronics Voyager 855
Samsung wep200(non a2dp)

Doug

Whew! I'm glad to know that--I bought BlueAnt today. BUT... this is my first bluetooth device. Can you give me some guidelines on setting it up? The BlueAnt quick start guide says to find the bluetooth menu on the phone. No can do. Can you walk me through it?
Much appreciated.

Motorola H700 works great.

Mockers: To turn on Bluetooth, touch the top right corner of the screen where the battery icon is.  A menu will appear will bluetooth.  Or, use the launcher to go to the bluetooth app.

Whoops.

I think mockers was asking me, as I already am using it.

Tricia is correct the q1 auto finds the pre w/o having to enter code. I have noticed that there are battery issues using the q1 w/ the pre, it dies after about 5 hrs. I've heard that blueant is working on an update to fix this.

I also like the voice dialing feature w/ the q1.

Thanks. Very sneaky that that menu is not listed in the Quick Start guide. I now have a working bluetooth!

I just got a Jawbone II and while it pairs to the phone fine, every person I've talked to with it said I sounded muffled or really far away... Sad

Got a free pair of Motorola BT S9 stereo headphones.  They work great.  Awesome with Pandora!

I use the Jawbone II as well. I also use my Garmin Nüvi 765t in the car and they both work excellent!

BTW I made some changes up top and stickied this thread.

I use the Motorork T505 car system that goes through the car stereo.  I stream Pandora constantly and it works great.  I have never been able to use a Bluetooth headset, I miss the days when you saw somebody talking to themselves, you knew they were crazy  Cheesy
