I want to change the dialer from the ugly green POS.  No app for this?  I can't get putty to work for me. I start putty with my IP 192.168.1.105 and port 222, but then it just sits there....Shouldnt it be asking me to log in or something?

Did you gothrough the rooting process? I never connected via a LAN address, onlyEvDO, so I don't know if it is different. Changing the dialer is easy once the phone is rooted.

here's the one i had when i first learnt how to do the dialer hack...I have since changed it to better ones.
