Hello, i just wanted to know if anyone knew a step by step method of changing the icons that come with homebrew apps to one of my choice. The quality of some of the homebrew icons are not as good as those of the apps from the app catalog, and i want to be able change them with icons that i downloaded. I am too lazy to figure this out Grin. i know i have to access the root system of my pre. other than that, i'm lost.

please help.

if you have a good icon you find, maybe send it to the app developer to incorporate with the next update for that app...  i agree, i want all my icons to look classy.

i have a bunch of high quality icons, but i doubt if the developers will agree to use them. As far as i know, i have to access the application directory for that specific app i'd like to modify. the problem is that i don't know how to go about doing that.

never mind, i figured it out...it was preety easy by the way. Now i have changed those homebrew app icons to quality ones (just like the custom ones on the pre). All i had to do was to install sftp on my phone, and download winscp, and it let me gain access to my whole palm pre file directories (after i logged in through putty), and all i had to do was find the homebrew app files, and replace the icon.png with the icons i wanted.
