One thing I just realized that I'd like to have different on the new update is to make it harder to erase emails. All it takes is a swipe of the finger to erase an email. On the other hand, when you try to erase an IM, it gives you a prompt to insure that that is what you indeed wanted to do. I don't know about everyone else, but my emails are more important than my IM's. It just doesn't make sense to have more security for the IM's over the emails.

Just make the emails erase process just like the IM's and I'd be happy.

Is that the case? Yeah I agree then.. maybe they did this because the emails go to the trash and you can still recover them!

This suggestion relates to the navigation application. I have a bluetooth stereo in my car. When using navigation with the Pixi it sends the voice commands through the stereo using A2DP. This is a huge fault in my opionion. I am usually listening to the radio, CD, and sometimes I play music through the pre. If my stereo isn't set to the Bluetooth Audio input then I can't hear the navigation audio.

In short, there should be an option to use the A2DP or built in speaker for navigation.

On that note, nothing should be set in stone. There should be options in preferences.

Very good point, that I pray Palm takes into account.  We all have different priorities, so when they do change something they need to be sure there are options for us to set our own preferences.  I for one would be quite upset if I had to approve every email I try to delete.

Some things I would like to see added that weren't mentioned:

1) MESSAGE NOTIFICATION WHEN SCREEN IS OFF--The notification for messages on the Pixi is pretty quiet and brief. If you don't hear the tone, you don't know you have a message. The phone should have some way of telling you that you missed a message or call without turning the screen on. Maybe the trackball can glow or blink or maybe they can have a pulse vibrate.

2) CONNECT GOOGLE MAPS/LOCATION APPS TO SPRINT GPS-- I like the apps that help you find stuff like Where or Goodfood, but when you search them, they give you the location and directions via Google Maps. That's cool, but then I would like to be able to send the address or have a link to Sprint navigation so I can use the GPS to get there.

3)ENABLE ANIMATED BACKGROUND-- I would love to have an animated background on my phone.
4)MORE PHOTO OPTIONS--Enable us to do some more things with pictures. Like crop them, frame them, rotate, just a few more things.
5) THINGS THAT WERE ALREADY MENTIONED THAT I WANT:
a. Visual voicemail
b. Virtual Keyboard
c. Video Recording
d. Flash

Time zones in calendar. Treo allowed you to specify the time zone of an event, so that travelers could keep track of actual appointment times. Pixi enters all events in local time zone. Embarrassed

When I am in a web page and I stretch out the print to be able to read, the screen should re-flow the article or whatever to fit the screen so I don't have to scroll horizontally to see the end of the sentence.  I expect to scroll vertically to see the bottom of the article, but it is a pain to have to scroll horizontally even when I am in landscape mode.  This seems like a no-brainer, but I haven't seen it happen.  From what I have seen about the upcoming Android HTC Hero, this re-flowing happens.

BTW, as I was reading through all the pages, I noticed quite a few duplicate feature requests.

I'm not sure how this would work.  If you stretch the screen to make the print bigger, and it wont fit on the screen, how is it supposed to flow to the end of the sentence?  If I make a webpage bigger on my laptop, I still have to scroll from side  to side to see it all.  I guess maybe it could be dependent on where you stretch the screen, but it is still limited to the real-estate you have on the phone.  Just curious.  Undecided
