I cant wait to get all of my old hacks to work again, I didnt realize how much I used the tweaks!
I still dont understand why it is so easy for people to create their own fix for forwarding messages, yet PALM does not put out an official update that adds this functionality.

EDIT:
Be careful reinstalling tweaks, tried to get my battery meter back and lost my top bar with the time and everything!  Looks like I will be trying the webOS doctor after I backup everything.  Sad

EDIT #2:
Messaging is all screwed up too, cant even open up a conversation.  Also cant get it into USB mode, luckily I have it set up to connect through ssh winscp, so I can backup all my pics and such.  Off to wipe and reinstall.

EDIT#3:
In case you are interested Rillo, here is the LED hack:

With the new update, it says you can highlight text on the web. I can't figure out how to do this, does anyone know? I can 'Select All' which selects the whole page which I don't want to do. Help!

I don't think this needs to be posted in 2 places. I answered your question in the other thread.

I'm pissed!! Well, kind of.. just heard from our insider that Germany (and I guess other countries too) will have a different firmware! Which is fine because of language specific apps, but lauch firmware will be 1.12 with an immediate bugfix update 1.13 (shush, unofficial). Features of your current update 1.2 will follow a couple of weeks after launch! I just hope it doesn't take too long.

There's a really easy way to get LED Notifications now. I don't know if it's common knowledge here or not yet but if you install Pixiware they now have an auto patch feed.

In this feed you get basically all the tweaks from Quick Install to work with WebOS 1.2

Some of the tweaks I'm enjoying without having to root my pre or modify any code would be having the date in the top bar by the time, having the battery percentage next to the battery icon, LED Notifications, accurate time stamps for each text message and forwarding. And multiple others.

If this stuff isn't common knowledge on these forums please let me know immediately and I'll make a topic about it as fast as I can. I've been really busy with school and haven't had time to keep up with the forums like I did in the summer.

Really?

I did a search for "Pixiware" and "tweaks" on here and found just about nothing.

I especially wanted to bring it up since these tweaks working again with 1.2 is only a few days old.

And on other forums there are still people scrambling around to try and get LED notifications without having to uncomment lines of code or install quilt and have to type in commands.

Go Rillo Go! Make the thread. There are more than a few people on here who would benefit from it.

EDIT:
Sometimes I am not sure if everyone else here checks the other PRE resources on the web, so I hesitate to post stuff here, I will try and be more thorough in the future.

You've been spending too much time in the lounge talking about the government and 'what's your favorite _____'.... laugh

Before the release, everything from every Pixi site would land on here the minute it was released. It used to be a race to be the first with the new information, with only seconds being the difference of being number 1 and number 2 to post it. It's definitely quite a bit different on here than it was before. A lot of the active members before the release have drastically reduced the number of posts they have been making.

True, but in my case simply because there are not so much rumors anymore, and because I still can NOT have a Pixi Wink
