Pixicentral seems to have a pretty solid tip that we may have to wait until next week to see the next update, and instead of updating to WebOS 1.2.0 we might be updating to WebOS 1.2.1. Check out the link below.

Do you use them for good, or for awesome?

you're quick with those updates!  i have a new game (QuickSolve) in additional to QuickSpell, and they are both on PixiCentral for download.  hook me up with a good rating over there if you like them (some shlub gave it a 2 - what the heck?!)...  thanks!

GGGrrrrr....Now I wasnt pissed at Apple before because I really didnt care about iTunes, but now it is really affecting me!  Just release the update and then fix the iTunes later already.  We should take a poll as to how many people actually care about the iTunes sync...

EDIT:
BTW wankerc5, I just gave you a 5 for your game over on precentral, so dont say I never gave you anything Smiley

Ahhhh boo to the wait. I really hope that this isn't due to itunes. I could care less about that sync. Let me get the update, because not only do I want the newest and greatest, I have been waiting to get the virtual keyboard till after the update. Well at least I haven't gotten rid of my patches and tweaks yet, then I would be really upset.

This delay is NOT due to the Itunes sync.  The precentral article clearly stated that.

Yeah, but the initial delay from the release last week was most likely because of this, and now that they have added more stuff, Sprint wants to check it out.  So basically, it is because of the iTunes sync, kind of a domino effect.  Huh?

Apparently it only took them 'just shy of two and a half hours' to fix the sync. I really don't think it was even a major factor in the delay. It was most likely a factor, but it wasn't the factor. There is something bigger that kept it from being released. They could have fixed the sync, released the update, worked on whatever is causing the delay(for the weeks it has taken)and then released another update. It would have pleased the update addicts by giving them not one, but two updates within a month.

Keep in mind, Adobe Mobile Flash 10 will be released(in Beta) to developers in under two weeks at the Max Conference. Maybe Palm got a 'sneak peak' at it and has implemented it into the new update...yeah...slim chance, but a guy can dream, can't  he?

You have to wonder too how accidental the "leak" of 1.2 actually was.  I saw that some of the guys over at precentral already started fixing things like, "MyTether" (which I am sure Palm/Sprint really do not want to work all that well).  Maybe they want to do some "breaking" of their own.  Not saying I really believe this, but I like starting conversation/controversy.

As much as I want the update, I am patient.  I want them to get it right and pack as many features/fixes in it as they can, cause who knows how long before the next update is released, when is the next iTunes due out?   Wink
