how do I use the emoticons?
Since there is not a smiley menu yet, maybe these will help. Once you send the smileys will show.
Anyway, Mine works well with the new updates including my iTines. But you know how that goes. I'm sure Apple will come out with an update soon. Don't know why Apple makes a big deal about it since it works with PC and apple still makes money off the purchase.

Actually there is a menu, if you go to the messaging menu on the top left and click help there is a topic in there for emoticons
Thanks, but I wasn't talking about that menu. I wasn't refering to that menu. Its a menu like the Treo 800 and Centro has where you can pick a series of SMILEYS already preloaded to your Treo. I had 50 SMILEY ICONS on my Centro. I downloaded them from a 3rd party app. For those that owned Palm Treo's for years on the Palm OS, they would know what I am talking about. A lot of us are still waiting for that app. I'm sure it will come out sooner or later.
I had one on my Treo 800. I like that feature and I wish I have it on my PRE. Several replacement apps have different smiley sets (IM apps, like Mundu, text apps like PictureSMS). WE SHOULD PUT THIS ON ONE OF OUR WISH LIST AND REQUEST THIS FROM PALM. It is sure taking a while for palm to come out with new APPS. I also want an MSN Messenger on my PRE.
