Yeah the download went fine for me too, it's just the hype I was waiting for new apps, I go to my catalogue and guess what. 30 is now my least favorite number!!!  and ooooooh I have an NFL app, well guess what!!! it's not football season yet!!!!!!!!!!

By the way did anyone else notice that they put AP news and Today Show back into the app catalog yesterday without actually updating anything? also while I appreciate the swiftness in which these two threads were combined it is now just one confusing thread.

Yea... Sorry I didn't catch it fast enough and there were already about 8 posts in each thread I didn't want to just kill one of them. Please use quotes for clarity.

Anyways:

Features that were not in the official changelog:

1.) Animations on menus, photos, and many other places.
2.) Doing tasks such as scrolling through texts, photos, etc... are all much smoother
3.) Pixi is overall a lot faster now launching apps, switching apps, etc.

Post anything else you find that Palm didn't discuss in the changelog.

Not all the issues are resolved with ITunes it seems.  Many of the videos load on the Pixi but then a message comes up saying "There was an error playing the file".  Poop.  Now I'm debating whether or not to update ITunes and see if the fix will work with the updated version.  Decisions...decisions...


EDIT: Well, it doesn't work with the ITunes update either.  Oh well.  Most of them work.  It's not a perfect world.

You could always try downloading itunes 8.2.1 and if it doesn't work you can download itunes 8.2.0 (the old version) here http://www.oldapps.com/itunes.php?old_itunes=44

now when I go to my pics they load faster and instead of just appearing they kinda slide in from the side.

Mine is updated fine with no issues.  I just had to charge my phone to get the battery above 30%.  Then it installed with no issues.
