Forwarding Emails with jpg pics

When I forward an email that contains an imbedded jpg picture, the email sends but the recipient doens't get the picture. Is there a setting somewhere I'm missing?
The received email contains a blank box where the picture should be.

Thanks for responding. My problem isn't with received emails.  I receive emails on my Pixi with embedded jpg pictures just fine, but when I forward them on, the forwarded email is received with only a picture placeholder.

My email family frequently forwards emails with some interesting tidbit of info, picture, article, etc.  When I forward these emails on (which contain a picture), my recipient doesn't get the picture.  Only the picture placeholder is received.

I confirmed the problem by forwarding myself one of these emails and I received it in my Outlook program.  Although the picture was present in the email that I received on my Pixi, it was absent in the email that I forwarded to myself and opened in Outlook.  Any suggestions?
